Recently, Duke Progress has taken a number of positive steps to ensure that clean energy will keep Charlotte and the surrounding area as pristine as possible, including new plans for a solar farm that will near completion in 2033, adding as much as 2,660 megawatts of energy to the grid. However, with the help of the Arcadia Power community, these numbers can increase as the public demand for clean energy increases.

Duke Energy Progress owns nearly 49,500 megawatts of generating capacity, which is linked to customers via its 277,100 miles of distribution lines throughout its power network.
By signing up for Arcadia Power, you can pay your Duke Energy Progress bill on time, every time, and use clean energy in the process.
When you enroll in Bill Pay, Arcadia Power will receive your Duke Progress bill and we will send you one statement. This makes how you pay Duke Progress bills easier.
However, if you aren’t enrolled in Arcadia Power’s Bill Pay program, you will continue to receive your Duke Progress utility bills Additionally, if you receive separate utility bills for gas, water, or sewage, those bills from your Duke Progress (and other utilities) will continue to come in the mail.

Your Duke Progress bill is sent directly to Arcadia Power.
We email you a statement that includes your utility bill charge, your clean energy and overall energy usage, and savings credits or charges from any Arcadia Power programs you are enrolled in.
Three days after we send your statement, we charge the payment method you provided to make sure your electric bill is paid on time, every time. And since you’re set up for autopay, you won’t need to do a thing.
